Intriguing match up in the second round of the 5A playoffs. Doss is coming off of a pretty convincing win over our arch rival Highlands. CovCath has been pretty rock solid over the course of the year, and the offense and defense were clicking against an inferior Fairdale team.

Expecting a good game. CovCath will have to prevent the big play and eat up clock with time consuming drives.

This poll is going to be extremely one sided. I don't think a lot of Dragon fans post on BGP.

It depends on the size of the Doss lettering on their jerseys. The game maybe closer than what most people think but the Colonels should come out on top.

That is what I am thinking - CCH wins but not a blowout. Probably 3 TD's or more but not a running clock. Maybe a 2 TD spread at halftime and then expanding from there.

We think it is awesome being the underdog. Cov Cath may beat us, but they will have a fight on their hands. The Doss kids are much more physical than you may think. Of course they are athletic, but if you ask some of the teams they have played they would confirm. Cov Cath is very good and we are honored to even have the chance to play against such a good team. My guess is most CCH fans expect nothing short of a knock-down battle.

CovCath has to make sure the potential feel good story doesn't unfold with this Doss team.

 

Doss has the chance to take down the most storied program in the state(minus T maybe) and another traditional blue blood program in a weeks span.
