Who do you think wins and why?

Just don't see much changing since first game.

The voters in the poll believe so as well, as of this post 24-4 in favor of the Breds.

Lloyd is without their best running back. Should be a NewCath win.

The Breds should win, good luck to both teams.

Townsend is awfully good as well, but missing Durham will be a problem for Lloyd. I believe they will need to throw much more than they want to in order to be successful. Or they could try a lot of onside kicks.

They have been putting Townsend under wildcat which has been working out well I believe.

If they are has successful as the last game, Wags will commit hara–kiri on the sideline. :lol2:

This could be a close game. I would not base anything off the first game. Especially since NCC looked good for the first 3 1/2 quarters and then Lloyd looked so good in the last 8 minutes.

NCC was without best LB in first game so Lloyd was able to run the ball up the middle. Now their RB is out.

Lloyd dropped 2 TD passes in first game. NCC dropped 2 Pick 6 interceptions.

Lloyd kicking game was terrible except for all the successful on-sides kicks.

So basically this game might be totally different than the first game.

I think NCC will play up more on the Lloyd receivers instead of giving them large cushions. I think Lloyd will account for the NCC QB who hurt them repeatedly by running the ball. I also think you may see some players who rarely play both ways in the regular season start getting more snaps on both sides of the ball.

Lloyd, in typical Lloyd fashion, gave up on the season after about week 4. NCC in a blowout.

In defense to Lloyd they have some issues that needed to be corrected from what I have seen... when a play offensively is wide open they have to be more aggressive. They are need to overwhelm the safeties and just flat out run NCC. NCC would be fools to play that type of. Speed up close they are going to give up the inside/outside zone. The key is keeping there d line in check. Lloyd just needs to put a hat on a hat.. there qb does not like to be hit. Conner proved that so the key is Pressure and keep the big plays in check.

Are you saying that Lloyd needs to run the ball straight at NewCath? I think that would be a big mistake. NewCath does a great job stopping the run. That is one of their strengths. The formula to beat NewCath is very very simple. Spread them out with 4-5 wide and over load one side of the formation. This leaves your best WR in single coverage all night long. If NewCath tries to shade with Safety help, you exploit the over load and hit the slot receiver. Doing this, opens up the run and keeps them guessing on defense. Beechwood ran this plan to perfection. They moved their best player around the field and exposed NewCath's weakness, which is defending the pass. It has been their Achilles heel for several years now.

Defending NewCath's offense is another story. It starts with play calling and putting the kids in the right play and that is not a given every week. If the OC is one his game, they are tough to beat. If the OC continues to roll the QB out to the same side of the field on long passing downs, NewCath beats themselves.

IMO, I picked NewCath to win this one but wouldn't be surprised if they have some trouble getting it done. Lloyd is playing without a key COG and the kicking game will hamper them in the end.

The bright side is that I can now get to some NewCath games...
