Who do you think wins and why?

Another win by over 20 points for the Rams.

Nicholas has the disadvantage of staleness in drawing the dreaded Bye. Their very weak schedule has not prepared them for a team like the Rams. Raceland likes to play smashmouth football, because they can! Then they like to embarrass you with a sound passing game (both play action and shotgun), all called from a no huddle offense that keeps the defense off balance. This could actually be an embarrassing running clock by 3rd qtr (IMO). Rams by 4TDs.

From reading this board for many years, isn't this the game where you Ram fans always used to comment about the weather? Doesn't it always rain whenever Raceland makes the trip to Nicholas County?

 

Rain or no rain, I think Raceland wins. Nicholas County hasn't played any team near the caliber of Raceland. Maybe not a running clock, but Raceland still moves on the inevitable rematch with Paintsville.

Seen both 1st hand. Raceland in a romp. Won't be close.

Similar result as the Brossart game.

Nicholas will fight in this game as they will have two weeks to prepare and it will get them healthy. I'm not sure of their injuries but I'm sure they have some.

YES! The last time we went there, it was 70 and sunny and as soon as we got off of the bus, it immediately started clouding up and then poured the rain all evening even though the radar was clear lol.

Raceland bringing more than some rain with them to Nicholas Co this time! They will bring a LOT of HARD HITS and First downs! Rams just too much for Nicholas Co to handle in this one! I don't think it'll be a running clock but it will be WELL out of reach for Nicholas by the end of the 3rd!

Raceland should win, but I believe it's closer than some think. Good luck to both teams.

Some of the rainiest, sloppiest, messiest games I have ever seen has happened when Raceland travels to Nicholas County. Sidelinedoc was taught the hard way, he just wouldn't listen to the more seasoned, more knowledgable and better looking Ram. He had to learn the hard way.

 

Like I always say, hold an umbrella for a man, he stays dry for a game, let him watch a football game in the hardest rain since Noah and he will stay dry during football games forever.

If the Bracken team I saw last night beat Nicholas, then Raceland should win with ease.

I believe it was Salmons' sr year when half the lights went out and they lost two game balls over the hill that night. Its the rainiest and darkest place on the planet lol.
