SLINK Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Dawgs coming off a tough loss to PRP, where they committed 5 TO's and all of PRP's points came off of them, some deep in Dunbar territory. Ryle is 1-1, losing to Cincinnati Glen Este and defeating Newport Catholic. Same old for Dunbar. Punctuate drives with TD's and quit turning the ball over. Defense did a good job on PRP, holding them to 167 total yds. Any thoughts or predictions?
Son of Bear Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Dunbar isn't falling to 0-4. Hopefully they can hold on to the ball this week. PLD wins in a close one 33-29.
94 Camel Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Dunbar isn't falling to 0-4. Hopefully they can hold on to the ball this week. PLD wins in a close one 33-29. Didn't Ryle give them a physical beating last year? Ryle has most of their team back this season.
warrior17 Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 Ryle will win this one in a very close one. Dunbar running back will have lots of yards though...
LSURock Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 This game should tell us something about NKY 4A. Ryle seems like they and SK are in the drivers seat in NKY 4A. So if Dunbar defeats them it looks like NKY might be really down.
SLINK Posted September 5, 2006 Author Posted September 5, 2006 Ryle will win this one in a very close one. Dunbar running back will have lots of yards though... Jerrell Greene has not played but 9 snaps this year, all last week. He has had a sprained knee. Do not feel he is at full strength yet. Will have to see how it plays out. Has not run the ball this year also. Hopefully, soon.
Pretty Boy 3 Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 What does Dunbar have back from last years team, because the majority of the team for Ryle is back from last years whooping. I'll take Ryle with Scottie Gray and Vince Murrary having huge games. Ryle 35 Dunbar 14
NEERFAN Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I think Ryle is the small favorite but can they beat quality AAAA teams without any passing game?
Son of Bear Posted September 5, 2006 Posted September 5, 2006 I think Ryle is the small favorite but can they beat quality AAAA teams without any passing game? Dunbar has no passing game either. Dunbar needs this game bad, they still have tough games against Scott County, Henry Clay, and Tates Creek left in the district. Not to look ahead, but 3-7 and making the playoffs is a possibility.
