November 2, 20169 yr 2 Police Officers near Desert Moines Iowa were shot and killed in separate incidents about 2 miles apart this morning. Both were found sitting in their squad cars and at this point appears to be ambush attacks. Prayers for their families and for all law enforcement this morning.

Well if the suspect currently in custody turns out to have done it then I'd say it's normal, reasonable people versus white nationalist nutjobs who think the government's out to get them. But there's no civil war and nutjobs are just nutjobs so hopefully this turns out to be an isolated incident.

November 2, 20169 yr What a shame. Won't be long until your taxes increase because officers have to be partnered up for their safety. These shootings have got to stop before we end up with either too much enforcement or not enough. Both are bad, one worse than the other.

I get the reasons why it's not like this already, but honestly I think officers should always be paired up in teams.
