No argument there. I'm hoping Cory Booker gets a chance one day. At the same time I have never been more ready to vote for the Republican Party in the presidential election. Kasich, Rand Paul....I was waiting and looking hard. Instead the people rallied around Trump. I'love never comprehend how his happened. The republicans had 8 years to knock it out the park. Instead they struck out swinging.

I had pledged not to vote for Trump months ago, but I am finding it increasingly difficult to not cast a vote against somebody who I strongly believe belongs behind bars.

Yes, lucky for her, but I did not feel the need to explain that before she is thrown behind bars, she deserves the same right to an attorney and fair trial as other American citizens do. Trump is a horrible candidate - don't look to me to defend Republicans' choice to run a candidate who had never even voted in a Republican primary until he voted for himself this year. Hillary is a crook and had the GOP establishment and the Fox News Channel allowed a fair nomination process, instead of attempting to rig the process for Jeb Bush, Trump might have been making new episodes of a reality TV show. A good Republican candidate would have already forced Democrats to send in a sub for Hillary.

 

At least most Republicans and most conservatives understand and acknowledge when we have been saddled with a defective nominee. Trump is a very weak candidate but the evidence that he is a criminal is much weaker than the case against Hillary Clinton. Never has the term "lesser of two evils" been as true as it is in this election.

I think historians will look back at this election and truly wonder, "What in the hell was going on in 2016? How did it come down to those two?"

So, are you rejoicing that Hillary Clinton's team rigged the nomination process to block socialist Bernie Sanders from getting a fair shot at the nomination? I am not sure how you are trying to rationalize your efforts to defend such a bad nominee.

 

Have you taken a loyalty oath, as some Trump supporters did, to remain steadfastly loyal to you candidate? Are you honor bound to defend Hillary Clinton from all criticism, regardless of how well founded it is? Because, if that is the case, then your posts would be much easier for me to understand.
