So, are you rejoicing that Hillary Clinton's team rigged the nomination process to block socialist Bernie Sanders from getting a fair shot at the nomination? I am not sure how you are trying to rationalize your efforts to defend such a bad nominee.

Have you taken a loyalty oath, as some Trump supporters did, to remain steadfastly loyal to you candidate? I am kind of burned out on Trump bashing. I authored a very long and detailed thread in another forum titled "The Case Against Donald Trump." (It is the most frequently viewed political thread ever posted in the forum.) Trump's women problems over the years has been very well documented. However, instead of criticizing him for what he has actually done and said over the years, the Clinton team decided to fabricate some stories that her supporters can understand without much reading. In other words, Hillary Clinton prefers to lie, even when the truth about her opponent is devastating.

 

The other reason that I have not engaged in more Trump bashing here is that most members who plan to vote for Trump concede that they will be voting for Trump to keep a criminal from becoming our next president. I can understand that logic, so why fault people for relying on it?

 

Hillary supporters, on the other hand, seem more likely to support and defend her record and qualifications, without conceding her multitude of faults.

 

Of course, there are exceptions to both sides. There are Trump supporters who have deluded themselves into thinking he would make an outstanding president and there are Democrats who acknowledge what a bad candidate Hillary is but sincerely believe that she is the lesser of two evils.

 

I am not here to criticize anybody for their voting intentions. I am here to criticize both of these two candidates who are clearly unfit to hold public office. Maybe if enough of us complain about the lousy choices that the two major parties have given us, at least one of the parties will correct its mistakes in 2020.

Come on guys. I don't think any Dem believes HRC is our best. Biden would have been but he didn't run. When compared to that stand up guy the Republicans put against HRC we have to cheer her on.

 

It is laughable and tiring all of the stuff that many try to pin on her and Bill. The people they let live, and the people they choose to exterminate reminds me of Stoops' clock management if all this were true.

 

I said on here once that if Kasich and Clinton were on the ballot I would have had to stand there for a long while to decide.

 

All that is beside the point because the republicans have allowed the democrats to nominate and elect a black one term senator with an Arabic sounding name twice and the wife of an impeached former president who is not really liked by her own party to the office of president of the US.

Don't hold your breath. I think it is pointless to attempt to persuade a Clinton supporter not to vote for her at this point. Once people conclude that a criminal is worthy of the title President, they are lost causes. All we can do is build a documentary record and when the inevitable happens, point at that record and calmly say, "I told you so." If Hillary is elected, then that day of reckoning will be upon you before you know it and if Trump manages to win, that day is coming for his core supporters as well.

I doubt that our definitions of "fairly successful" are remotely similar, so if I deem either a "success," I am pretty sure that you will consider them a "failure, " so it is unlikely that any offer of crow that you serve up would be accepted. There are a few Trump campaign promises that I would be pleased to see him keep, but the problem is that I believe he is the second most dishonest candidate for president of my lifetime. But if I consider the winner a successful president, I will gladly eat a multi-course meal of crow and ask for seconds.

Saudi Arabia, but the cost of admission might be a refund of all those millions in bribes (a/k/a speaking fees and charitable donations) that were offered and accepted. Qatar and Morocco are also good bets, and the price of admission might be somewhat lower.

You may look at it that way, but you can't win with just one demographic. I don't think he is either, he has spoken for weeks about broken inter cities with high unemployment, high crime rates and poor schools...he has mentioned it repeatedly and that he will fix it. I don't think that's targeted to the demographic you ate talking about :lol2:
