October 25, 20169 yr Didn't know if we were going to have individual threads for each game or not, but figured we could at least start here. Versus just about any other AL opponent, I might be rooting for the Cubs in the series. Not this time. I'm just about as big an Indians fan as I am a Reds fan, and will really be pulling for Cleveland in this one.
October 26, 20169 yr Author Kluber dealing. Has 8 strikeouts in the first 3 innings!! Difference so far...Indians get a 2 out single, and end up scoring 2 in the first. Cubs with a leadoff double, and strand him there. Tribe up 2-0 after 3.
October 26, 20169 yr Author Lester not throwing over is baffling...:idunno: Had Lindor dead to rights, stepped off and still wouldn't throw over. Crazy.
October 26, 20169 yr Author Old Pete predicted Schwarber would end up with 3 K's tonight. He's got one, but he also had a blast off the right-center field wall for a stand up double. If the wind wasn't blowing in, he might have had the homer.
October 26, 20169 yr Lester not throwing over is baffling...:idunno: Until you've had the y*ps, you just couldn't understand it. I got them playing HS baseball where I couldn't throw the ball back to the pitcher when I was catching. It's so frustrating it literally makes you want to quit playing the game. It's the most indescribable feeling in the world.
October 26, 20169 yr Loving game one. So happy for Perez, who basically came from no where to where he is now.
October 26, 20169 yr Gotta win tomorrow. All we could hope for was a split in Cleveland They won't have Miller tomorrow so cubs should be fine. I'm guess they get the win.
