Mayfield in a beat down....if they want to

Snake,

Should Mayfield advance in the playoffs as planned, who in your opinion would be their toughest opponent?

OCATH

Desales/CAL

NewCATH/Danville

My Ptown Kitty Cats in an UPSET by a late FG!

It's gonna be hard to beat Mayfield at Mayfield, it will be hard to judge anything from this game as far as Caldwell is concerned. I would say Mayfield will be state champs and Caldwell will be a tough out in the 3A playoff. Mayfield could win big or it could be a close game, nothing would surprise me, usually at Mayfield it's not that close. I hope it will be a good close game.

You musta had some catnip to think like that.

All those teams could be tough but probably CAL

With Mayfield's offense even more efficient than last year, I'm curious to see how either a Cal or DeSales defense would slow them, seeing that is their strength. Mayfield shredded Corbin's D, and it's one of the best in 3 A. Think teams will have to keep Mayfield under 35 PT. to have a chance.

Mayfield by a bunch. Don't see Caldwell being a threat this year. We finish out the regular season 10-0.

Being a Caldwell County fan, I would have to give the advantage to Mayfield just because this is a home game and the Cards are tough at home. Heard a stat today that out of their last 60 home games, they are 59 and 1. That one belongs to Caldwell. I am by no means selling the Tigers short tonight, but they are the underdog. I predict a very close battle tonight. GO TIGERS

Well, that home loss to Caldwell happened in 2008, a year that Mayfield lost 6 games. BTW, Mayfield last lost at home to McCracken, not Caldwell.

This! I know this probably belongs in a different thread, but this is exactly how I see the math working in the 2A playoffs. It's going to take 30 points to beat this MF team and I'm just not seeing any teams in 2A with the weapons to muster that much production against MF's defense.

If Mayfield comes out and plays fired up....will win big 49 - 14.

It's time to start putting everything together, no more mistakes, and etc etc etc.

GO BIG RED!
