November 4, 20169 yr My point is that the show has gone up against football (and other sports/shows too) for years, but this is a huge drop off from one week to the next. Still great ratings for a cable show, but 4.6 million fewer viewers has to sting. I still think the cowboys, the Cubs and let's not forget the Cats were playing Clarion. I think episode one was great. I don't think the blood and guts scared anyone away.

November 4, 20169 yr I don't think it's because of sports or anything else. TWD fans have always watched regardless of what else was on. I think some fans are ticked that it was a) Glenn and b) so violent.

November 7, 20169 yr Little slow last night but I thought it was an important episode to show how Negan operates and the power in which he exudes over his followers. Overall I thought it was solid.
