All State Baseball Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Dodgers led 2-1 Pretty sad, you have an all-star team but yet you can't beat a team that has players on it that no one really has ever heard of other than Adrian Gonzales. IMO, Cubs need to win the next two in LA.
00Rocket28 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 IMO, you should stop posting these threads. Since you started it, they've stunk.
Big Slick Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Tonight's starter and winning pitcher for the Dodgers was pitching for the Long Island Ducks last year, making $750 per week.
The Professor Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Cubs are going to stay stuck on 1908. It's hard to believe they haven't won a World Series since Teddy Roosevelt's administration.

00Rocket28 Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 And that one pitcher, oh what's his name...Kershaw, that's it, Kershaw.
UKMustangFan Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 And that one pitcher, oh what's his name...Kershaw, that's it, Kershaw. I've heard he's decent...

Voice of Reason Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Puig Utley Kendrick Turner Corey Seager will be NL Rookie of the Year and a star for years to come. Grandal made an All Star game didn't he? Joc Pederson is a rising star. Kenley Jansen has been right there with Chapman as the most dominating relief pitcher in the NL the past few years. The Dodgers are not a bunch of no names.
Voice of Reason Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Also, don't be surprised if Urias has a great game tonight starting for the Dodgers. He is looking like the next great Dodger lefty.

tcjkbt Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Does the success of the Dodgers reflect badly on former manager Don Mattingly? Maybe, in defense of Don, there have been personnel changes and/or young players have matured.

Science Friction Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 The Dodgers are a good team. Not great, but good. The Cubs... well, they usually find a way to get sent packing in October. I wonder if Bartman has ever attended a game SINCE the incident (in disguise, of course) ?
