November 6, 20169 yr So, I guess we are stuck with watching the Norfolk State's of the basketball world that come in here. Until the conference starts Right now those are the teams willing to come here. I think some Mid-American and OVC teams will soon be here. If you can figure how to get Kansas, Duke, or a team like that to come here please contact NKU and let them know. I'm sure they would be happy to listen. In the meantime spend $35 and go to Xavier or UC for a game.

November 9, 20169 yr Looks like NKU is using the face of Drew McDonald in their promos. I've seen several facebook posts/interviews and just received a schedule with his photo on it in the mail. Good to see them lean on a local boy (who is an all around great kid) to publicize the program.

November 9, 20169 yr Can NKU schedule at least one home game a season that will make fans get a bit excited to come out and watch them? West Virginia came to play them a couple years ago Morehead (while I know not a Power 5 school) was in town last year. That was a pretty competitive game. Valpo spent some time in top 25 last year.

Valpo spent some time in top 25 last year. There are teams in their conference that annually beat Big 10 teams that people would consider power teams. Those conference teams come every year.

December 8, 20169 yr I still say this team will struggle to get to .500. That doesn't mean they aren't making drastic strides this season, far exceeding my expectations. I give it 2 more years and they'll be serious Horizon League contenders. McDonald and Williams are going to be match-up nightmares in that league for the next two seasons.
