October 17, 20169 yr Because there are a LOT of really high quality educators who work with kids for the right reasons. This idiot is the exception, not the rule. It shocks me every time. It makes me furious every time because people who already have a negative outlook on educators become even more negative, giving the rest of us an even bigger mountain to climb.

Or do you think this rank is prone to abusing their position? Nothing about the rank of Principalship that is prone to abuse. This kind of perversion crosses all lines. I would not be surprised if the pastor down the road from me, the cop in the subdivision next to mom , or the coach at an area school is engaged with this stuff. In fact, all three of those mentioned have occurred in the past four years. So, no, absolutely not surprised in the least!!! Were you shocked at Jared Fogle or Jerry Sandusky? Many people expressed shock. Not me !!! These are not isolated cases. This happens in every city, every day--- doctors, lawyers, preachers, teachers, cops... You would think that those "To Catch a Predator" shows would convince these people to seek help for their addiction.

While Papaw and I were out here in the country raising our sons to be good people, paying for a business and home and volunteering for about 10,000 different causes for school, athletic depths., band, 4-H, summer leagues, PTA, cancer fundraisers, church and buying anything from candles to candy to brooms and then it starts all over again with grandchildren, apparently the world left us in the dust of the 60's. We did not get MTV until our sons married, much to their dismay. We never got the internet until a couple of years ago, much to the grandchildren's dismay. And at times headlines like this make me feel so disconnected from the world of today. I worry for my children and grandchildren's lives because there is truly a lot of evil being perpetrated in this world. And if I had a good back I might consider planting my foot in some of these idiots backsides. People all you have to do is be decent instead of disgusting.
