I've been absent from a lot of threads. Been in Asheville for 3 days. Just got back a few hours ago. Part of the time in Asheville I was without connection to the interwebs.

 

Stories came out at about 9:30 or so. I'm topical. I posted it. Hard to deny it's going to be a story. If it offends your senses, hit the ignore key.

Someone hacked their campaign and illegally released them to Julian Assange. That's not a legal action no matter how many debate questions they knew. Maybe it will turn out to be someone else, but normally independent hackers own their crimes.

There is no moral high ground when discussing the morals of Bill and Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. They all mingle in the same social circles and reside in the same moral swamp. If you are a Clinton supporter and believe that you reside on moral high ground, then it is time for your friends to host an intervention for you.

 

If the Clintons can convince voters that Donald Trump is as morally bankrupt as they are, then Hillary will win. As soon as I heard the Trump bus tape, I told my wife that women would come forward this week to claim that Trump attacked them. In about seven days, another outrageous charge will be made against Trump - if Hillary's team is still unsure that the election is in the bag.

 

Making unfounded allegations against Republican opponents is how Trump won the Republican nomination. I would say that Hillary beating Trump in the same manner would be poetic justice, but there is no justice where a Hillary presidency is the result.

Not answering for Jesse of course, but isn't basically the last refuge to ask "why now?" In fact, nothing apparently is a better sign of your guilt than people asking why now. Bill Cosby. The Catholic Church. Sandusky. Michael Jackson. "Why Now" could be re-worded as "Darn,I thought I could get away with it after all these years."
