That could not be further from the truth. Our country was built on principles from the Bible and on the foundation of God. Look at everything from the start. "In God we Trust" etc.

 

As a relatively young country we have evolved faster and been blessed way beyond what any country has in the history of the world because of these things and moral compass of the people.

 

The progressive left thinks those things are outdated even to ridicule such a idea. When have you heard very many candidates even bring "God" or heaven forbid "Jesus" into this? The left cries "separation of Church and State". Hog Wash. You are trying to rewrite how we got to this point and you are succeeding. God himself will not allow a mockery to be made of something he has had his hand on and has blessed. Whether any of you believe this or what the general rules of the Bible are, makes not one iota of difference in Gods eyes. When abortion etc is common place with Morality at lows not seen since Sodom, watch out. Judgement is coming to the good ole USA and coming soon.

 

Donald and Hillary both are examples to how far we have fallen as a nation. I take no pleasure in either. Both are not good. However I cant stand on the platform of the left. It goes totally against what I believe and what the Bible teaches. That reason and that reason alone is why I will support the R's as long as they stand against immorality as a platform. Now to answer your questions. No, I don't think Trump is perfect. In this campaign the bar is pretty low. Now, SCOTUS appointments are close to the top for me. I do think we all make mistakes but I do think as he has aged, he is trying to be a better person. I don't think anyone has been duped, he just seems to have fewer flaws. I am not the same person I was 48 years ago either. You post as if I should judge him only on his morals, I think that battle was lost a while ago. However, my husband and I do live by the morals we had when we married and will not buy stock in tobacco or alcohol companies. Mutual funds we can't control. The U.S. has some critical problems so I am reading their platforms. It doesn't matter to me if he has an R or D by his name. I'm a conservative Democrat who votes for who will keep us safer by securing borders, deal with Russia, China, North Korea and Iran. Reduce taxes. Try to vet refugees, even quarantine them for a period of time for infections like tuberculosis. We don't know what if any immunizations they have had. If I haven't answered all your questions, ask again please.

I've seen no evidence that the man has softened at all from being the goof ball that I've long perceived him to be. Just about every time he opens his mouth he says things to reinforce to me that he would have never been someone that I'd care to associate with much less champion as the guy that I'd like see lead our country.
