Whatever leverage the Russians might have with Hillary would be virtually useless if Trump were elected. The Iranians have demonstrated how profitable leverage can be when dealing with corrupt liberal Democrats. Putin wins no matter which candidate prevails in November. If he has anything worse on Hillary than negotiating a $12 million quid pro quo deal with the King of Morocco, then he would be a fool to squander it by saving this country from four years of serial scandals under a Hillary regime. October 23, 20169 yr It is foolish to dismiss the possibility that if the Russians have possession of all of the email messages that were hacked from Hillary's unsecured, basic dwelling, personal server (as alleged by her own campaign), a former KGB chief would not use a damaging, undisclosed document to use as leverage in negotiations with a sitting American president. As the terms of Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and Barack Obama have demonstrated, wisdom is not a hallmark of liberal administrations. Some Hillary supporters seem capable of dismissing all evidence of her corruption and incompetence with a shrug and a flurry of personal insults of her critics. Hillary's team insists that the Russians hacked her carelessly maintained DIY basement email server, not me. All I am suggesting is that, if Hillary is right about the Russians, then it would be crazy to assume that they would dump all of the most damaging material into the public domain. One reason background checks are done before entrusting people with classified material is to ensure that they are not potential targets of blackmail. Hillary obviously had good reasons for ignoring a subpoena and destroying 33,000 email messages about her yoga lessons, etc. Neither one of us can say with certainty that the most damaging contents of Hillary's email server have been or will ever be made public. What we can say with certainty is that Hillary created this mess and the consequences of her actions may never be fully known.
