October 12, 20169 yr That's simply not true. But, to each his own. Are you actually going to deny that the Left ignores and excuses everything Hillary does or is connected to?
October 12, 20169 yr Author I don't know anybody that would describe it as "peaches and cream." I think everyone is for the most part in agreement that things have been better, especially in light of the candidates we are forced to choose from. I think there is certainly a pretty drastic division in our country right now, and I think A LOT of that has to do with the polarizing candidates. Both candidates are genuinely hated by the opposing party (heck, one his hated by his own party). In an election year where the candidates are overall more likable and/or more qualified, I don't think the division would be as bad. Time will tell us this........ I have a close French friend who I talk Politics all the time with. He concurs that other non US citizens think we are divided bad and over more than the election. He makes some strong points.
October 12, 20169 yr Are you actually going to deny that the Left ignores and excuses everything Hillary does or is connected to? Are you actually going to say that EVERY member of the Democratic party excuses EVERY single action Hillary Clinton has done? Really?
October 12, 20169 yr Are you actually going to say that EVERY member of the Democratic party excuses EVERY single action Hillary Clinton has done? Really? Evidently you haven't read these threads or seen any MSM reports.
October 12, 20169 yr Evidently you haven't read these threads or seen any MSM reports. So it's your actual intelligent belief that every single Democrat in America, every single one, excuses every single action Hillary has ever done?
October 12, 20169 yr So it's your actual intelligent belief that every single Democrat in America, every single one, excuses every single action Hillary has ever done? I'll go with most.
October 12, 20169 yr I'll go with most. By that logic, it's fair to say most Republicans are racist, correct? (For the record, I do NOT believe this, because it is a ridiculous notion.)
October 12, 20169 yr Evidently you haven't read these threads or seen any MSM reports. And I don't need to read all the threads or MSN reports to know that is a completely ridiculous statement to make. Asinine at best.
October 12, 20169 yr I'll go with most. Fair enough. I don't agree, but that's not surprising. Using your logic, is it fair to say that "most" Republicans share Donald Trump's racist, misogynistic, and bigoted views?
October 12, 20169 yr And I don't need to read all the threads or MSN reports to know that is a completely ridiculous statement to make. Asinine at best. You may need to come out of your ivory tower every now and then. You won't read or pay attention to them because you would find out it's not as asinine as you would like to think. Your comment was asinine.
October 12, 20169 yr Fair enough. I don't agree, but that's not surprising. Using your logic, is it fair to say that "most" Republicans share Donald Trump's racist, misogynistic, and bigoted views? I didn't know Republicans were. Is is that what you think?
October 12, 20169 yr I didn't know Republicans were. Is is that what you think? I think Donald Trump is every one of those things, and it's obvious. Do I think most Republicans are? Nope, but many are still voting for & supporting him. Point is, most Democrats don't like Hillary. I know you won't believe that, but I don't really care. Just because they support her doesn't mean they think she's some kind of saint, just like most Republicans that support Trump don't think he's a good person. I guess it really boils down to... Hillary is a deplorable person. Trump is a deplorable person. Why the hell are so many otherwise intelligent people brainwashed into supporting or voting for either of them? Makes zero sense.
October 12, 20169 yr Some on the Right may. Seems ALL on the Left do. Take it for what it's worth, but you do realize that to earn credibility you have to at times demonstrate as least a wee bit of unbiased and non-slanted commentary that would exhibit that you are capable of seeing reality for what it is rather than an extreme lopsided view of it, right? If you truly ever seek to sway anyone, your present approach will never likely be effective. I realize that you probably don't care, but at this point all you appear to be doing is spitting out words to see where they splatter. If you ever want to be taken seriously as someone who knows what they're talking about, then your approach might need some tweaking.

You won't read or pay attention to them because you would find out it's not as asinine as you would like to think. Your comment was asinine. Ivory tower? Any intelligent person doesn't have to read all that to know that painting an entire political party with a broad brush based on a few articles is ignorant at best. If a person says ALL Republicans are racist, that's ignorant. If a person says ALL Democrats excuse every mistake Clinton has made, that's ignorant.

I could care less what anyone on an anonymous message board thinks of me. My ego isn't such that I need that type of affirmation. If one dismisses that most of the MSM and Democrats excuse and ignore Hillary's issues they are simply living in an alternate reality.
