If you're not a Catholic, you might've missed this but it's something those familiar with the state of things picked up. When someone talks about "traditional Catholics", they mean something very specific. Sometimes referred to by other Catholics as "trads", it means people with strict adherence to social teaching, typically Latin Mass attendees, and those that are generally unhappy with the state of the Church since Vatican II.

 

In fact, in that e-mail exchange they refer to "trads" as a bastardization of the faith, which as a Latin mass attendee myself, I find mostly amusing.

 

It's a fun headline to whip up the angry conservatives, but it's a re-writing of the exchange.

 

Believe me, I have no illusions about what a lot of progressives think of my religion, but this is something slightly different.

I'm just telling you that I've heard worse about traditional Catholicism from people who call themselves conservatives than what I just read in that e-mail.

I'm more concerned with where these emails are coming from and their authenticity.

 

Poor Donald read a fake one at a rally that has already been debunked as Putin propaganda. Why are the Russians involved?

Nothing in all these emails? We just move on I guess. Its ok to leak questions to Clintons campaign, by the new person who replaced the last crook at the DNC etc. Sheep.

This is the one that interests me. Hearing about a status conference is not unusual. The time and place of a status conference in federal court would be public record anyway and so not really earth-shattering.

 

But if that's the case, then her lawyers would already know so who are they talking to at the DOJ and why? Now certainly we all have our sources; nobody worth a darn in that job wouldn't have somebody he could talk to inside. But the nature of that relationship holds some interest.

GetSlow all I am saying here is there is alot of smoke.........some that cannot be denied and nobody wants to talk about it.
