October 10, 20169 yr We learned that Trump is going to have Hillary investigated, arrested, prosecuted, and jailed after his inauguration. He even said he hated to do it or even bring it up the viewers. That statement proves he does have a small smattering of compassion.
October 10, 20169 yr I am absolutely leaning away from Trump. No question. That was the entire point of the thread. For folks to help me TRY to understand why they are voting for him. Pretty cut and dry. Feel similar to you in that Trump is almost impossible to support, and Hillary is equally hard to fathom. Third party makes no sense unless you're into meaningless "statement" votes. Deciding factor for me may be the future of the Supreme Court, which can affect my children for generations. Fear that the Constitution may be rewritten if the Liberals, Progressives or whatever they call themselves today get another 4 years?? Really torn, but not sure it matters; as the majority of those with their hand out may finally outnumber those who may actually care for the future of this country, and this election (and many to follow) may already be determined. Unfortunately for them, the math doesn't work, but they're too uninformed to understand.

October 10, 20169 yr Has the current or recent SCOTUS are-written the Constitution? Not to any degree as it's been pretty evenly divided. Obama has tried to tweak it via executive order, but many fear a more left leaning Court could allow for some more extreme changes.

October 10, 20169 yr CNN poll results say 63% feel Trump did better in this debate but 57% say Hillary won the debate. Only 34% said Trump won the debate. I assume the remaining 9% thought it was a draw. Focus group of Ohio uncommitted voters - slight majority thought Hillary won, the rest though it was a draw. Only one person raised her hand and said she thought Trump won.

Don't agree with the way Obama has tweaked it? I did say in 2008 that I would have felt better if Hillary had won, as I felt she was more centrist than Obama; but had no idea how correct I was at the time.

This was the easiest shoe-in victory in a long time for the Republicans, and they nominated the one guy that made it a shoe-in win for the Democrats.

Kind of shows what I thought and was exactly @Jesse James debate advice. Donald was throwing haymakers to stay alive in this one. He'll probably need a different strategy next time since HRC fought those off pretty well.
