October 8, 201610 yr If you aren't watching, turn to ABC now. For some reason, they decided to play this game in the heart of Hurricane Matthew and it's fascinating.
October 8, 201610 yr I watched the 1st quarter then left for a while. Catching the last 6 minutes of the game now. I LOVE IT!!! I like monsoon games and crazy snow games, I always have.
October 8, 201610 yr That 4th down play for ND was beautiful!!! That's what I'm looking for in a game like this!
October 8, 201610 yr I watched this from start to finish and could not turn the channel. Every snap could've cost either team dearly. Monsoon-like conditions for most of the game. Best 10-3 game I've ever seen.
October 8, 201610 yr Notre Dame lifer, but I can't stand Kelly. How a coach (and, even a player) over the years hasn't hauled off and hit him in the teeth is beyond me. I'm all about respect, but you only have x amounts of times you can cuss that way at me. 9/10 times when they zoom on him over the years he is giving somebody the cussing of their lives. I've never met him; know some coaches who have and they've said he fits what you see on tv...epitome of a pompous, little man complex to the max, butt hole. October 9, 201610 yr Was Matthew's whole purpose to send a message from God to Notre Dame? Yes...Fire Kelly!
October 9, 201610 yr On the bright side, the Notre Dame defense only gave up 10 points (with a big assist by Matthew).
October 10, 201610 yr On the bright side, the Notre Dame defense only gave up 10 points (with a big assist by Matthew). Actually they only gave up 3. Their TD was a blocked punt return.
October 10, 201610 yr Notre Dame is now 2-4. They have the following games left on the schedule... Stanford Miami (FL) Navy Army Virginia Tech @USC I can't imagine they go better than 2-4, maybe get lucky and go 3-3. Zero chance Kelly keeps his job this year.
