I predicted around 3 months ago that one or both would not be on the ticket come Nov, Trump is trying his best to make a prophet out of me.:idunno:

Prediction .... Clinton is going to win because at the next debate Trump is going to brag that he has a "plantman" in his pants and Hillary doesn't.

Nah, he was caught on a mic back in 2005 talking more crap about women and being able to get away with groping them, supposedly...he is slowly and spectacularly imploding.

 

I'm more convinced everyday that he was a set up...he is the only GOP candidate that HRC could beat and that's who she gets to run against.

That's always been a belief. Imagine if that is true. How in the world did he win the nomination? Just crazy. I still wish Kasich would have gotten the nomination.

Who wins? Clinton. Why? Demographics. This election was decided years ago. If you put 51 blue jellybeans in a jar with 49 red ones, you can say "it's close" but blue is gonna win every time. That is the demographics of our county.

 

How ingrained is it? How polarized is the electorate? Well, ...Trump has made fun of a handicapped person and was critical of a prisoner of war and the republicans are still behind him with a few notable but statistically insignificant exceptions. If grown men and women are able to perform a Jedi mind trick on themselves into believing its not abhorrent to support such a candidate, then it should be apparent that nothing in the election really matters and those jellybeans are just waiting to be counted.

The flip side of that is true is well. If Biden were the Democrat nominee, this race would be a landslide.

True, he'd be polling at 55% or more and it would already be over.

Trump getting the GOP nomination was the perfect storm scenario. There were 17(?) candidates running and a half dozen of them were pretty solid. That split the vote. Trump said out loud what people only say in their living room or after 5 hours sitting at the bar and people loved the entertainment. Then the novelty act won a couple primaries getting maybe one third of the votes and BOOM ... the free media and entertainment pushed him on to victory. People are sick and tired of Washington and any change is good. If Trump could get his act together, he still could make this race close but his ego won't let that happen.

Last Call?

Saw one of the focus groups after the VP debate asked how many wish these two were the presidential candidates instead of the two we have. Every person in the room raised their hand.

I would just like to be around to read the history books a 1000 years from now.
