February 3, 20179 yr What about Desmond Jennings? If he's cheap he might help the bench on this team but he is a low average, low obp guy who swings and misses a lot. The Reds have enough of these guys in their everyday lineup but could use someone with a little pop off the bench who can play several outfield positions.

February 8, 20179 yr So this did not crop up until now? From Mark Sheldon... Story coming, but it was very recent development and GM said they moved very quickly. All had been going well until.
February 9, 20179 yr I have to say that being a GM and signing a pitcher to a long term deal has to be a nerve wracking experience for your job security, especially in small to medium market. There is absolutely no way of telling what is going on inside that arm, even with MRI's and whatnot.
