Come back next year to the Varsity game in 2017 and you will see a huge difference. Brand new stadium, new press-box and permanent lighting. From the drawing and pictures I have seen, even you will like it.

I will definitely be there...

Who is #24 for the Colonels? From the pics I saw he looks like a key player with nice size. Mayer is a load it also looks like. Many big kids on both teams.

Sounds like the future matchup should be competitive between these two programs.

Those darn freshman coaches.

Yeah who am I to think they might want to win the game instead of play for a tie and go to overtime on the road on a night where weather wasn't ideal but carry on. I mean, why not take a chance? If you lose at least you took a shot, just my opinion which clearly means nothing.

New Cath beat Cooper first game. Freshman Football is fun this year. All of this is great for Nky Football.

Does Newcath still use a few sophomores on the freshmen team to field enough players? I know they have in the past.

Not this year. 22 players

Guessing all the losses this year by birds must have to do with bad play calling, weather, or poor officiating instead of other teams simply being better

No one said that CCH wasn't a better team, although I'm not sure a 1 point victory shows that they "simply" were...

Not to read too much in it but it does bode well for the future for CCH... Do believe signs pointing to the tide turning...

Would you go for the tie in that situation?

Congrats to the Colonels they were a blocked extra point better.

When will Mason Schwalbach return for Highlands?

If memory serves me correctly there was a HHS thread that said "The Calvary is coming" which IMO means that the younger classes are pretty good. It seems now to some that freshman balls means nothing I wonder why that is? Looks to me that the Calvary is coming for both teams with a slight edge to CovCath. IMO

After 10 winless years against Highlands, I hope Cov Cath can eventually make this a rivalry game again.
