September 23, 20169 yr Pretty uneventful game. Clemson looked much better on the first couple of drives going up 14-0 quickly, but after that there wasn't much to talk about. GT was pretty bad on both sides of the ball all night. DeShaun Watson threw up an "L" to the camera two different times last night... Was he looking ahead to the Cardinals?
September 23, 20169 yr It was 14-0 and looking to stay that way at the half until the GA Tech player caught that interception in the end zone, tried to run it out, fumbled on the one yard line, then dove on it to give Clemson a safety. The Tigers then scored on the ensuing drive after kickoff. It was the goofiest thing I've ever seen. Tech had a corner, No. 6, who stuck on Mike Williams all night long. He was breaking up passes all over the place. Here's hoping our own No. 6, Shaq Wiggins, plays him that well in a week's time.
September 23, 20169 yr Louisville is better...at least I hope they prove they are. I was at the Clemson game last year, and had THE MAN been at QB for the Cards then; they win. Those final minutes of the 1st half in last nights game just put GA Tech in a hole they couldn't get out of. They were already in that hole due to the difference in athleticism, but those final ticks before half sunk any hope of an upset for sure.

Clemson has recruited so well along the defensive line the last several years. Their front seven as a whole made attempting to run that option just look foolish. Jackets couldn't get out ahead of the Tigers on anything.
