September 19, 201610 yr Author @Clyde, I don't think I saw an answer to this. I don't believe it was camera but I'm not sure. I posted this b/c my first reaction was "come on, man - they guy was dying" but after thinking about it a bit I guess we can't have the guy driving so fast that he puts others lives at risk.
September 19, 201610 yr I saw the thread title and didn't read a single post. No speeding ticket in the history of the world has ever been appropriate. EVER. And I am willing to debate this harder than any debate I have ever been involved in. Speeding tickets are stupid and nothing more than an easy way for money to be made off of us all. Speeding tickets are stupid, inappropriate and unnecessary. Bring it. I'm ready. So.........how many have you gotten?

September 20, 201610 yr On NPR last week, there was a discussion of a study whose results showed that slow drivers holding the left lane are more dangerous than speeders. This was while I was trying to pass a slow driver who wouldn't get out of the left lane. I commute daily now. I see drivers pulled over for speeding. I've yet to see one pulled over for holding the left lane. I'm sure that it happens. I've just never seen it. There might be one person ticketed for improper lane usage to every 500 speeding tickets issued.

If you can manage to space your tickets out on a yearly basis you can qualify for the KATS program and insurance will never know.

They are about 2 hours apart and I was determined to make both games. I'll do anything to be at my kid's games. You never know when it could be their last game. A speeding ticket won't deter me.

September 20, 201610 yr True but I'll never understand how a whole town knows where all of the drug activity is taking place everyday and nothing seems to be done about it. Knowing and proving are two different things. And along the lines of your argument, jail doesn't keep drug dealers from dealing.
