You don't for one second think Oklahoma is going to win this game, and everyone here knows it. :lol2:

Does everyone believe that this is the national champion roster? 45 OSU players will be playing their first college road game this weekend and it just so happens to be in Norman, OK.

OSU line had to make many adjustments at halftime last week, coaches were not pleased. JT still doesn't look great, good but not great.

They have a lot to prove on my opinion.

Buckeys win on a late FG.

A married walk on kicker who Meyer didn't even know 3 weeks ago for the win! Wouldn't that be something?

In his defense he has looked good so far and many folks are wondering if Nuerenberger will be able to get his job back. But point taken though. I think you are absolutely right that this team does have a lot to prove, but you know just as much as I do that this team is extremely talented, they just haven't had the opportunity to prove it yet. Thats what is worrying you, the inexperience. Too be honest it worries me too. If Jim Tressel was still our HC I would be extremely worried because he didn't win these games i.e. Texas and USC. But I do feel confident in this team because Urban Meyer > Big Game Bob.

OSU really hasn't put everything together yet and are very young. I do believe that Urban Meyer will have them ready to play.... OSU's defense, Barret running the show and Urban out coaches "big game Bob". Oklahoma at home does worry me though.

Oh you are so right he's been very good. I'm glad his wife's parents went to OSU that's why he sent them a tape.

I think your Tress comment is spot on he couldn't win these types of games due to coaching and too many Ohio kids on the roster.

OSU is very talented I agree with you I just think they need more time playing together to iron out all the wrinkles.

Is this an afternoon or evening game?

I'll have to double check, but I believe it is an evening game.

I think Tressels biggest problem wasn't the talent. He had decent enough talent 9 out of 10 times. I think it was more his mentality and how the ole clinche goes that he played not to lose instead of playing to win. He handcuffed a lot of his skill players in big games. I was actually a Tressel guy and still am, but there isn't a doubt in my mind that his mentality was what lost the NC to Florida. The one next year against LSU we didn't deserve to be there honestly and sort of backed our way into it, but we were a better team than Florida and had the 2 best players in college football that year, but Florida had the better coach. I'm glad he is fighting for the good guys now. Haha

Is Bob Stoops more over rated as a coach than his brother Mark?

Not even close. Bob Stoops has won at least once in each of the four major bowls including a national championship.

Ohio St is a better version of a good Houston team Oklahoma already faced and lost to.

Oklahoma cannot lose this game if they want any chance of a playoff. They all have been reminded of it as well.

Backup QB for the Sooner is running his yap saying Baker Mayfield will kill OSU's D.

Baker must be thrilled to hear that.

I'm sure Stoops and Mayfield were pumped to hear that haha. Nothing like giving the opposing team some extra motivation two days before the game. You ALWAYS talk up the other team.
