The last time Dixie played Trinity they were the greatest team ever out of NKY and Trinity smoked them in the state championship.

I going to revise my prediction. Dixie has beaten ???? like 12 years ago but SK has never even scored on ???? in like 5 games so therefore Dixie must be a shoe in to beat SK.

Often times a football game is about matchups even more than it is about the quality of the teams. This game is going to be one of those. This game comes down to one thing - can SK stop Dixie from running the ball?

 

A couple years ago Dixie figured out about 3 or 4 games into their season that they were a dominating running team. They focused the offense on that. It didn't matter what the score was or who they were playing or how the game was going, Dixie was old school Woody Hayes we are going to run the ball over you and if you can stop it, you will beat us. They rolled over SK that year 24-0. That running game took them all the way to the championship game until they met a team that it didn't work against - Trinity.

 

From what I have seen and read, Dixie is trying to do the same thing this year. They are all about the run. So, can SK stop Dixie's running game? I think yes. I think SK has too much size and strength for Dixie. I don't think this game is going to be as close as Conner. I see a 35-14 Simon Kenton win.

Should be a good game. If the Pioneers can stop Dixie's run game, they should win without much trouble. If they don't, it's anyone's game.
