Greenwood - FS game should be a doozy.

Greenwood played a very good game .Two things that will help South bc of this game 1 South has to understand EVERYONE is going to give you their best. 2 the Defense grow up in 2nd half they have to come out with that intensity also STOP THE UNSPORTSMAN LIKE CONDUCT.One thing we have to remember all of these kids hadn't played a varsity down .they will be alot better come playoffs.

I'm not surprised that South received a couple unsportsmanlike penalties after watching at the Rafferty's Bowl. Could've had a few called in that game, but especially should've been called when the backup QB pulled the money out of his sock and flashed it to the crowd after he scored and the coaches didn't say anything to him. This is something that can be damaging to a team and something I did not see from them last year.

Also, I wouldn't have put all my money on Greenwood tonight but I'm not shocked at the score. Seabolt has done an amazing job at turning that program into an ever better place than what it was. Greenwood, I thought was underrated in the 5A polls and tonight makes me think that they definetly been counted out lately. Congrats to Greenwood, and hope the injured Spartans are able to get onto the field again soon! Hate to hear about that

Seabolt is a good coach but never forget good coaches have good players. Jackson Adams is the gamechanger. Special kid. Dont know the Greenwood program and certainly dont want to take anything away from them (or their win) but when you have a kid like Adams that makes everything click is huge. Big win

WHAT.....:eek: That's bush-league. That young man would be charting passes for quite some time if I were the coach. Coach missed a perfect opportunity to make an example out of someone, about things you DON'T do.

Well there is something BG has NEVER done.....

That South Warren-North Hardin game in a few weeks is going to be more interesting than most (especially myself) thought heading into this season.

One thing I do believe is great about this result is that it is the type of result we very, very rarely see anymore. I don't know if it is because of six classes, or what, but it is rare for us to get a genuinely shocking outcome like a top team getting knocked off by an opponent almost no one thought would be able.

I guess Purple88 does know what he is talking about in his Power Ratings for the Western part of the state!

3 very difficult stretch of games coming up after a loss like this. We'll see what the Spartans really are after these games...

I'd like to hear back from Spartan fans for updates on the injuries from Friday night. Hopefully nothing too serious.

on injuries,won't know until Tuesday my gut feeling Hayes out 1-2weeks Litten will play Friday .Hickman looks like season ending.
