August 21, 201610 yr This is the 2nd year in a row Max has made the pre-season finalist list for the Rimington award! I am so excited and happy for Max and grew up as one of my best friends with his dad and know his aunt and Uncle very well and couldn't be happier for such a great kid and family. I also am very good friends with the head of the Boomer Essiason Foundation where the award is given and sponsored. The one of the Directors of the foundation is the father of my sons teammate and roommate in college. So I've made sure that Max stays on their radar this season lol. I love Maxs story and would love nothing better than him winning the award his senior year and then GETTING DRAFTED BY THE BENGALS!!! Lord knows we need a center bad!
May 11, 20179 yr Max has been invited to the Bucs rookie camp. Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times is reporting that the Buccaneers have passed on Max.
