Is he the smallish, quick back?

Yes, he is a quick back. Smallish? Let's just say he is short but packs a lot of muscle. Compared to England last season he is "smallish" but I don't think that describes him very well. He is quite an athlete. He participated on the 4x100, and 4x200 relay teams last spring and represented Ryle at the state track meet in those events and in the long jump. He's "smallish" in the mold of Robert Newhouse for the Dallas Cowboys--not quite as much power as Newhouse but more speed and quickness (relatively speaking). But that is who his build reminds me of.

He should be one of the top backs in NKY this year and next. He see's cut backs and holes better than his coaches (that was a statement from one of his coaches). His off season work ethic is very strong. Always in the weight room. Top student at Ryle as well. A great kid, but you will hate him with his shirt off. His 6 pack has a 6 pack. Chiz.jpg

Back when, Ryle had a string of rbs that had great success at this size.

Apropos of nothing, I referred to Ryle as a "new" school the other day and the person I was talking to (transplant, not from here, only lived here about 10 years) looked at me like I was speaking Latin.

Ryle will always be a "new" school to me.

Was that after you told him to turn down his stereo, stay off of the lawn, and pull his pants up?

No, and as @TheDeuce can attest, I'd be the one they were telling to turn down my stereo.

The saggy-pants thing is just dumb, age isn't a factor.

Ryle was built in 1992 24 years is a long time.

Agreed on both points.

I know. Sadly, in my brain, if you weren't around when I was in H.S., you are a "new school". I realize the preposterousness of that stance, you don't need to pile on. :angrybird6:

My man Will Smith when describing MTGL and Deuce: "Old and Busted, New Hotness."
