July 23, 201610 yr Funny this thread showed up when it did. We are taking our boys to King's Island for the first time this coming Friday. I haven't been since 2003, so I'm looking forward to seeing what's new. As far as my all-time favorite, I've got to go with The Beast. Love it. Or at least I did 13 years ago...

July 24, 201610 yr With one exception, I quit going to theme parks, years ago. However, we do attended Howl-O-Scream most years at Busch Gardens Tampa. I've ridden all of their coasters. Since I love the old wooden coasters, my favorite there was the duelly Gwazi, which they closed in 2015. Another favorite of mine, and another wooden duel coaster, was The Hurricane, at Boardwalk and Baseball, but that theme park closed years ago. Then there is always the worlds tallest and fastest wooden racer, American Eagle, at Six Flags Great America. My absolute favorite is still good old Space Mountain at Disney, though I've not been there in close to 30 years.

July 24, 201610 yr 1. Greased Lightning-AstroWorld(Houston, Texas)-closed 2. The Beast-Kings Island 3. Texas Cyclone-AstroWorld I've ridden a ton of coasters but those 3 top my list. I haven't been to Kings Island in a long long time and Diamondback was closed that day so I have never ridden it. I need to take a trip to Kings Island and Cedar Point sometime in the near future.
July 25, 201610 yr Author Love Space Mountain and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster in Disney! I enjoyed both of those as well.
August 1, 201610 yr We had a great time at KI Friday. Much to my surprise, there was literally nobody there. The longest we waited for a ride (The Beast) was 12-15 minutes! Diamondback is a very awesome coaster. Banshee wasn't bad either. The Beast still holds on to the #1 spot for me though.
