Nwo, things are getting a little dry here in central kentucky. With these extreme temperatures it's drying plants out quick.

I see a chance this weekend for some rain, what's your maps say over the next 10 to 15 days?

I almost broke a sweat when I went outside this afternoon. It's hot.

Been outside the last two days, brutal is the word I would use, and it's going to get hotter.

In the 6-10 day outlook it is showing above normal precipitation. The 8-14 day outlook is showing normal precipitation. They are just releasing the latest GFS model run so when it is completely out I'll look at our long range chance of rain.

I have mowed the part of my yard that's a hill. In a few after I'm sure I won't pass out, I'm going to finish the tlatest part of the yard. Please God don't grow too fast over the next few days.

And it was brutally humid in French Lick today...the best place to be outside was either in the trails, or up at the Pete Dye course, on Mt Aerie.

It looks like we will be going into a rainy period next week. Some parts of Kentucky, mainly around the Scott County area could see around a total of 6" of rain by next Saturday 7/30.
