I haven't been able to watch much of the convention because of working Reds games late. However, seems like the new narrative on Trump is how he must be a better guy than we all know and see on TV because of how great his family is.

 

Even heard the comment and paraphrasing, "Look at how put together and successful all of his kids are. They are all in business and very well spoken. Especially for this being their first go around in the political world. Look at them compared to the Kardashian children". Might have been Hannity or Tucker Carlson that said something like that.

 

For those who have been able to watch more, is it accurate that this has become somewhat of a "selling point" for the Trump camp?

That makes a vote for Trump even more tenuous, in my opinion.

 

There's a fine line between surrounding yourself with the best and the brightest advisors, and simply foisting the job onto others.

Yeah, too bad Paul Ryan isn't running this year. Ryan's definitely the go-to guy if you want to work till you're 72 to collect Social Security.

If the reports are to be believed, and it's possible there is some subterfuge from Kasich here, then Pence would be president for all intents and purposes and Trump would simply be a figurehead? Or Trump would be Elizabeth II and Pence would be Theresa May. :lol2:
