This is why we won't make progress. Because nut jobs like this claim BLM.

There's a lot of nut jobs like this in BLM that are hurting progress.

No doubt. The bad apples on both sides of the fence are what will keep us from moving forward, unfortunately.

What would you like to hear? We openly admit that there are nut jobs that claim to support BLM, but choose to act out in opposition of what BLM is trying represent. Just because you wear a shirt, it doesn't mean your heart and mindset is in the right place to be a full supporter of a movement. Some people are just trying to be a part of something without fulfilling the proper actions.

Are you looking for a dispute? Not much to argue about here.

Agree, and it is on all sides. It seems that some think BLM means open season on Police, while I think it is just people looking for an excuse to do what they already wanted to do anyway.

When some rallies are chanting "Pigs in a blanket, fry like bacon" or "What do we want? Dead Cops, When do we want them? Now" those that are looking for a reason to do violence feel vindicated to do violence.

No doubt. The bad apples on both sides of the fence are what will keep us from moving forward, unfortunately.

BLM and the main message is a good and noble idea. Those who feel powerless want a voice. Those who feel prejudice want people to take notice. I can get behind that.

My problem right or wrong from the start with the actual group I will list.

1. They have allowed socialist , Marxist and anarchist groups to infiltrate the movement. I cannot support any movement that gives those individuals a voice.

2. No clear leadership or realistic solutions. Anger is justified with some of what they say , but anger needs to evolve to solutions and not just disruption.

3. I don't know what % it is of the movement but we can't deny the amount of violence that surrounds a lot of these protests and dangerous rhetoric being chanted.

I saw @JimSchue mention the tea party. The tea party was vilified in the media but violence at their event was essentially non existent .

I'm all open for discussion. I'm a pretty reasonable person except for when adults play Pokemon Go , but BLM as it exists in it's current state is not healthy for any conversation.

No doubt. The bad apples on both sides of the fence are what will keep us from moving forward, unfortunately.

I don't hear crickets. I heard Deuce make a pretty important statement.

Nope, just think it's a shame that no one seems to care much when someone who claims affiliation to BLM does this. It's just convenient to say "he's not apart of BLM". Yea actually he is. Just like bad or incompetent cops are still apart of law enforcement regardless that the majority of cops do not condone they're behavior. It's a double standard and hypocritical to lump bad cops in with all law enforcement, yet when a member of BLM only has evil in their heart and intentions, those who do not have evil in their heart that support peaceful BLM say "he's a poser and not really apart of BLM."

Of course you don't. We get 12 pages of discussion when folks feel an officer is wrong. We get 1 poster with balls to comment when their perceived side is wrong.

Those are conversations that go back and forth, people supporting both sides. I see no one arguing that what the inmate did to the cop's home and family is justified.

True but that's because we LET them hurt progress when their actions should not matter. They're criminals.

"Your perceived side?"
