Open Job: Casey County

Featured Replies

I know good coaching when I see it and I know bad coaching when I see it. I'm not afraid to discuss either. And I don't hide behind an anonymous screen name.

Anyone who knows basketball knows that Maze Stallworth did a good job at Casey County, which isn't an easy place to win anything. I watched their team cut down the district tournament nets for the first time in more than a decade. That in itself is a major accomplishment whether you want to admit it or not.

40-59 record

1 - district title

I thought Casey had good talent last year. Again, I'm sorry I disagree with you about your buddy. I just wasn't that impressed with his coaching

John Wooden couldn't have defeated Mercer County last season.

Records can be deceiving. He played a pretty tough schedule last season. For instance, he played the best 3 teams in the 5th region.

They were 16-18, easily could have won 25 games with softer scheduling. The tough schedule helped prepare them for the postseason.

That's because Coach4 is actually a 4-year old.... Jk but for real I feel like kids are commenting

You said he would have been a good hire for Bath, however when he's hired for Taylor you start throwing around records from Casey and how he didn't do anything worth talking about? So yes you did speak volumes about Taylor. Just reading between the lines you either didn't want him in the 5th because you're afraid of what he can do or you wanted the job. IMO

Afraid lol. 40-59

All I have said is I'm not a fan. But I forgot the world we live in today you can't say anything that disagrees with people. I am so sorry for having an opinion about Maze as a coach.

You're allowed to have an opinion and disagree. We have no problems with you.

You're the one who says stuff like, "I'm sure the great Wireman has never said anything about a losing coach."

Why am I the "great" Wireman? Because I bust my tail covering basketball in Kentucky for $0.25 an hour? Because I care about Kentucky high school kids? What makes me great?

Afraid lol. 40-59

If that had been all you had said then nobody would have said a thing to you, except that's not all you said. You started coming up with things like easy draws, AAU, records, and even went as far as labeling last year's Boyle County team as 'bad'. It's all good though, everyone on here has their own opinions, no need to keep apologizing for yours.

He has a losing record in region tournament play (2-3) beating West Jess and a bad Boyle Co team. Didn't know we put people in the Hall of Fame for just making the region.

Wouldn't you have to play in the region finals every year to have a winning record in region tournament play?
