June 29, 201610 yr Not gonna lie, most times I come across a driver that clearly has no clue what they're doing, they have Kentucky plates. Probably 7 out of 10. Most are from Boone, Bracken, and Grant counties too.
June 29, 201610 yr Louisville traffic may be worse, but the Cincy drivers are worse. I always chuckle at out of towners who think traffic in Louisville is so horrendous. Of course I don't know what you're comparing it too, but I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Finally, and this causes a ton of accidents on 275 b/n 75 and 471, the hurry up, cut in, slam on the brakes lane change when getting into an exit lane, OR, passing into traffic. All that said, the worst drivers in the world taking into account population and driving space HAS TO BE South Carolinians on I 26. There is NO reason to have that many accidents and that little space b/n cars.

Of course I don't know what you're comparing it too, but I don't know what all the fuss is about. The times I've passed through, even during rush hour, have never been any worse than what you see on a daily basis in Cincinnati and NKY.

As for point A, those are also the folks that want to brake check you because they think the constitution gives them the right to hold up traffic. June 29, 201610 yr Driver rant (KY, OH, IN, state doesn't matter) if you're on a 3 lane highway and there are no cars in front of you, there's no reason for you to change lanes in front of a car going faster than you only to get back over after said car passes you. I see it all the time and it drives me bonkers. If it were a "let's slow this speeder down" type thing, then I might get it. However most of the time I'm not speeding, they're just going 55 in a 65 or something along those lines.

June 29, 201610 yr Since we're on the topic....if you're reading facebook at 60 mph in the left lane but speed up to 80 mph when you decide to pay attention to traffic you're the person we're talking about here. Stop with the phone/Ipad while driving. Drive a consistent speed in the correct lane. If you're going 60 in the left lane but switch to the middle and go 80 when I pass, what's the point? If you were going 80 to start with I never would have caught up to you. Why do you drive faster in the middle than the left???

June 30, 201610 yr There are things that we could actually learn from Miami, Florida drivers. The main one is that when the light turns green everyone slowly accelerates until the line starts moving as one. There are no major gaps between cars making the turn or going through the light. In Greater Cincinnati, it seems as though one car at a time goes through leaving 3 or 4 car lengths between them - total waste of space and efficiency. Of course, also in Miami a red light means that only four or five more cars can go through the light before stopping.
