June 16, 201610 yr So much for the Wheel...missed 'em both! I'm usually pretty good with acronyms but that one had me flummoxed. Pounds per Square Inch Rating and Persons Standing In the Room were next guesses.
June 16, 201610 yr Could be a race issue. But every white person I know can't believe the sentence the Stanford guy got. It's not like white people were asking the judge to let him off easy. I think the judge should be removed. In fact, I saw a report today the DA asked and received a request for a new judge in his trial because the judge was soft on the sexual assault. It said it maybe over for the judge if the prosecutors won't work with him.
June 16, 201610 yr I'm usually pretty good with acronyms but that one had me flummoxed. Pounds per Square Inch Rating and Persons Standing In the Room were next guesses. I liked your first one the best. That's another factor, I'm sure.
June 17, 201610 yr While the cases are similar with some different people involved, the difference in the sentences that were handed out sure made me raise my eyebrows. June 19, 201610 yr Could be a difference in Texas and Stanford also...location location location. Coddling California vs. Law&Order Texas.
June 19, 201610 yr Like Ron White used to say - other states are trying to abolish the death penalty; mine's putting in an express lane.
June 20, 201610 yr Phil Spector still wondering why he can't get away with killing a blonde like OJ did...maybe his fro that threw the jury off?
