Trump Supporters: What's a couple of things that you really like about Big Don?

Featured Replies

I love to learn. Other than Trump U. , there's nowhere better to get an quality education than here on BGP. I have a desire to understand Donald Trump's most passionate supporters. For those of you who think Big Daddy hung the moon, name a couple of things that really appeals to you about this man. I'm just not seeing it but I want to understand. Mamaw and others, tell me why I should reverse course and vote for this man. Please, no responses like "because he's better than Hildabeast." Clinton is of no concern in this thread. I know it's hard but just focus on the attributes that make Donald J. Trump worthy of being a four-year resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Thank you.

I tried for over an hour to think of one Presidential attribute for Big D and was unsuccessful. Help me out.

His policy positions on trade, taxes, foreign, immigration and veteran's assistance. From a policy perspective, he fits me like a glove. Trumps policies will produce jobs. Clinton's policies will create jobs ..... in China and Mexico.

Regulate industry, move it over seas, then tell folks here they have to stop emitting CO2. Do you think they care about CO2 emissions in China?

So, now we know what you don't like about Clinton in detail. What us it you like about Trump, in detail?

Since everybody in this election voting D or R is looking at this purely as an either/or proposition, this thread is impossible to keep individually focused.

I'm not a Huuuuuge Trump fan, but for me his #1 attribute is that his initials aren't HRC.

I like the fact that he is not a career politician and has used them and knows how it works. Sorta like bringing in a hacker to help the FBI solve a case. Trump knows the crooks cause he has been there with them and now he wants to straighten this up.Trump dont need the money or the power, he already has that. I like that he is not politically correct and just calls it as he sees it. No filter. I like the fact that he is going to try to stop illegal immigration or at least slow it down. I drive everyday on my way home and see it in action. I eat at a local restaurant that I like alot and am waited on by illegals and I am paying for it. Anyone thats gonna try to clean it up, I like. I like the fact he will support the police and the laws on the books, unlike Obama who has not. I like the fact that he understands economics.

I dont like the fact that he brags about his wealth.

I also like anyone who is against Crooked Hillary who is the most corrupt, lying, cheating nominee for president in the History of America. Yes she did make more than one kind of history.

Two questions about the bolded part:

1) Have you checked their papers and know for a fact they are illegals?

2) What if they were white but couldn't speak English?

I have a third one, but I'm letting it go for now.

You can tell a lot about a man by looking at his family. His children love him and do not want to disappoint him. These children have all become successful citizens and some are still in school, but I have never heard or read anything about them with drugs, alcohol or law enforcement. In this day and age how many prominent families can say that? I like his independence from lobbyists and the fact that they can't buy him. I like the fact that he is not a lifetime politician. I don't like some of his statements like Judge Curiel being a Mexican. He should have tried to find out if there is a link between Curiel and Obama, 1983 Curiel was a litigator for South Chicago Human Rights and in 1984 Obama moved to Chicago and became a community organizer. But in reverse to his outbursts you have to admit he is transparent, if its in his mind it will be out of his mouth. I think he is sincere when he says he wants policies that will improve lives of working class Americans. I like the fact that he is a businessman, we need to run this country like a business and not like a piggy bank for all who want a handout. I think today it was NATO or ?, stated that they should pay part of the cost for our military's protection. And I don't think he puts women down that much. They have higher wages than men in Trump businesses. I get back with more. Taking a stroll with Papaw.

Jim you never show up in a thread till you want to derail it just like you accuse others of. Whats the title of the thread? SF asked a question. I answered the question. I could tell you more but I would get banned. Use your imagination.

So you dont like my response and you question what I know? Ok here is your answer. The owner of the establishment in question tried to buy a house I owned. During that period I learned alot because he told me face to face. They are his blood brothers and cousins. I guess he is a liar. One of the guys who used to do contract work for me used Guatemalans to help him. I used to ask them specific questions about how hard it was to get here and they would talk freely. They even as much as laughed at our government for giving them all the assistance for free. Is that clear enough for you?

And if they were white and illegal they need to go to.

And why dont you try to add something to the thread except to question others like you are a supreme court judge?

Such devotion to the Donald. Did you ever get the impression -- as I do -- that Trump's running for president not necessarily to win, but to boost his business brand?

I believe Trump does this because of how Romney handled his wealth in 2012. Romney was embarrassed or ashamed of his wealth and was vilified because of it. Trump embraces it.

Trump not only wants to win, and is extremely competitive, he wants to prove that he can do it with less resources, more efficiently, and with much smaller of an organization than his opponent. He is doing this to prove he can do more with less and transfer those skills to government.

You are like Jim Shue. SF asked a question and these posters are answering him. Why are you derailing it.

Believe me, if there's something I don't like I tweet him. 7 men in my life I'm hopelessly devoted to Papaw, and my 2 sons and 4 grandsons. I'm loyal to a fault but you never want to cross me, because I will call you on it. SF asked and I answered.
