Mason Co. 41. Ashland. 30

Bracken Co. 51. Pendleton. 47

Mason Co. 47. Highlands. 57

St. Patrick. 32. Highlands. 38

In the two day of games, Campbell Co. Was by far the best team that played.

Bracken County beat Pendleton County 51-47.

Did Allen play? I understood he was at an AAU tournament.

Highlands looked good for not having a couple starters. Sophomore to be Aubrey Posey had about 15pts against Mason to lead the way. Good talent on the Birds team.

Did Allen play?

No, he didn't.

I thought Bracken was supposed to play according to the schedule at 5pm vs Highlands??

Is this a typo? St Pat 32 highlands 38?

Also what's the scoop on Allen and who's coaching Fleming? Heard Taylor stepped down....

No typo, and St. Pat played and not Bracken.

I also wondered who Fleming Coach was, never have seen him before. Did Taylor step down or was he asked to leave?

In the two day of games, Campbell Co. Was by far the best team that played.

From what I saw they are by far the best 10th region team(Didn't see Montgomery's games Day 1). They have length, speed and seem to be pretty deep, as well as shoot the ball well

I also wondered who Fleming Coach was, never have seen him before. Did Taylor step down or was he asked to leave?

Fleming was coached by Airy Crisp. I my have misspelled that.

I only watched parts of day 1 but for a team some think will challenge for the 10th Region, Bracken County looked completely outclassed by Montgomery and Boyd County on Saturday. Did they have players missing? Crawford played but didn't do much.

Surprised that Bracken's only win was Pendleton Co. Did not attend, so only info is this thread and trusted (sometimes?) friends. Crawford not doing much from post #28.....was he simply trying to involve others? He and Hinson know what he can do, but they both know the teammates have to produce and evolve into their roles if the Bears are to become what most of us think they could be. Summer is time to experiment, learn, and not be overly concerned about 1-4 scrimmage record. At same time, Hinson got to stay on top of mental side of growing pains.

Boyd County is physically as tough as any team I have seen. That's not to say they are the "best", but physically very tough on an opponent.

Mason County has some things to work on, but overall solid and just keep bringing it at you. Summer work should help Perkins, he has great length at the rim, just needs to work on touch and tough and should be a key factor.

Bracken County, never count them out. Hinson has a plan I'm sure.

Pendelton does not have a lot of depth and obviously without Allen a much different team.

This is always a good go round for both boys and girls at Mason County. Sumo does a great job working to organize and there are always very reasonable crowds for this event.

The air conditioning is so cold at both Fieldhouse and Maysville Gym you need a jacket to be comfortable.
