May 27, 201610 yr Author We do a ton of online shopping. I'd guess at least a 100 packages a year. I've never had a package go back and forth like this. The funniest part to me, is that it came to Lexington twice, and they sent it back twice.

The funniest part to me, is that it came to Lexington twice, and they sent it back twice. I've never had a problem with anything I have ordered online, but it happens. The facility I worked at was a small one, but handled around 30 to 50k packages a day, depending on the time of the year. I will say if you order 100 packages a year and this is the first one you have had an issue with, then your in good shape as far as statistics go. If it was something that fell out of the bags that the USPS uses, it probably was sent back to the original location it was shipped from to be shipped again.
May 27, 201610 yr I ordered a few things from wal mart for hunting and decided the other day just to look at my history, while I have received everything each time, I have a few packages that still read "out for delivery".

Ive got printer parts from 4 years ago that I never got, that show delivered. Thats what happens when you by from Amazon right @Lawnboy13.
May 27, 201610 yr I HATE looking at the tracking in packages, I'm like a kid at Christmas and keeping track of it, and seeing it either fly over me or take a u-turn is frustrating. Lol

Lol Nothing is more annoying than ordering something from Indianapolis and seeing it go from Indy to Louisville to Lexington to Cincinnati to Erlanger, then see the famous "Out for delivery" update
May 27, 201610 yr Last time I ordered anything online was about a year ago from Amazon. Showed up in less than a day and a half. Back when I did a lot more ebaying I managed to never have issues. One of the few areas where I can say I've been lucky.
May 27, 201610 yr My wife orders stuff on Amazon daily it seems and have never had an issue. Good luck I guess.
May 28, 201610 yr My wife is dealing with this from FedEx. Went from Texas to another Texas site, Illinois to Independence (20 minutes away) to Indianapolis. Handed off to USPS.
May 30, 201610 yr At least it looks like a honest mistake unlike the slow down some companies like Amazon give you if you don't sign up for their 2 Day Shipping. Amazon Prime is one of the best deals in America been a customer for like 8 years.
May 31, 201610 yr Amazon Prime is one of the best deals in America been a customer for like 8 years. I am not questioning that, I am saying if you choose not to sign up for Prime but still order from Amazon they play games and give you the slow down.

I ordered a pair of shoes through regular Amazon last year and they got to me two days sooner than expected. They were up on the front porch all day and I didn't even realize it until I checked the shipping log on a lark.
