May 20, 201610 yr One thing that is always a constant on this forum: someone is always taking our guns and this country is "going to hell." Makes me wonder why many of you aren't holed up in a bunker...wait ... Yes, they are always coming for our guns, but we are constantly fighting to protect our 2nd Amendment rights from the gun grabbers. We do not hide in a bunker, because we are out there fighting to keep the country from going to hell.

They want to walk into a store or movie theater and see a "no gun" sign, it makes them feel good. They don't want to sit next to me and my daughter, while I am concealed carrying a gun at a movie, someone with thousands of rounds down range. In a lot of ways liberals are martyrs for anti gun campaigns. They are OK with going into gun free zones even though they know a criminal or psychopath can walk in and shoot it up. The unfortunate part is that people on the right get killed as well if they are not allowed to defend themselves.

As mentioned earlier, IMO this person should be prosecuted for breaking the law. However in most cases, even when guns are used in violent crimes the guilty party gets slapped on the wrist! Enforcing current gun laws will go a long way in decreasing gun crimes.

You cherry pick one person who made a bad decision securing it and he or she should have their license revoked. It's no different than someone recklessly operating a car. You're going to demonize guns, inanimate objects due to human mistakes?
May 20, 201610 yr If you choose to carry in a sock you are asking for trouble...if you carry a gun into a school you are asking to be arrested. Looks like this guy may get both.

I'm reading more stories like this lately -- idiots who feel it's necessary to arm themselves at high school graduation ceremonies ... or irresponsible parents/grandparents who keep a loaded firearm under a car seat or in their purse in a shopping cart at Walmart ... within an arm's length of an inquisitive 3-year-old. We live in a world populated by idiots.

May 20, 201610 yr FWIW Accidental gun deaths account for less than 1% of accidental deaths in this country.
May 20, 201610 yr Not me. Never happy when innocent lives are lost in such a manner. Some (not you) would say that if we own a gun, we aren't innocent.
May 20, 201610 yr Not me. Never happy when innocent lives are lost in such a manner. Especially in circumstances like San Bernardino when the the left allows unknown terrorist into the country to murder Americans. We agree on our first thing ever Papa.

That's where we differ 22p, you blame guns as taught by your mentor Hillary, I blame people. Such as this guy and criminals for gun related incidents.
