May 18, 201610 yr The only qualifier: the fictional character could not have played the President in a movie, TV show, book, etc. Give me Atticus Finch, as portrayed by Gregory Peck in To Kill A Mockingbird. What say you?
May 18, 201610 yr President Samwise Gamgee. A working-class background (son of a gardner and a gardner himself). Fiercely loyal. Devout in the service of good over evil (along with Bilbo Baggins the only individual known to have handed over possession of the One Ring willingly). Became Mayor of the Shire after his return and was several times re-elected.

May 18, 201610 yr Good one. I considered Gandalf. Considered him too, along with Faramir and Aragorn. All seemed inappropriate as president... or any elected official really. First time someone in Congress proposed a bill that was anything less than perfect, he's getting a lecture and maybe a sword in the gut.

First time someone in Congress proposed a bill that was anything less than perfect, he's getting a lecture and maybe a sword in the gut. As George R.R. Martin asked, "What was Aragorn's tax policy?" :lol2:
May 18, 201610 yr Brandon Walsh from Beverly Hills 90210. Coach Eric Taylor from Friday Night Lights. Marlo Stanfield from The Wire Jax Teller from Sons of Anarchy.
May 18, 201610 yr Superman of course, but only the 1950's version. Truth, Justice and the American Way!
