I think most were upset by the deal not the fact that we negotiated with Iran.

Keep Trump away from any crazy guys with nukes.

Completely disagree. Most were upset that the POTUS had the nerve to try diplomacy.

Completely disagree. Most were upset that in the negotiations Barry got chewed up, spit out, bent over an oil barrel and used like he was Ned Beatty in Deliverance. Then got up smiling, telling us what a great deal he got.

Trump says he would negotiate with North Korean dictator about nukes | Fox News

I agree with Trump on this, but considering the backlash Obama got for opening the door to Iran I can't see this going over very well with hardline GOP-types.

Trump has also said that he will advocate Japan and S. Korea to develop their own nuclear weapons program. These countries will do so , or start receiving invoices for the the provision of their national security.

Its 60 years after the Korean War. These are modern countries who should be defending themselves. The American Taxpayer should not be held accountable for defending 1st world countries with economies FULLY CAPABLE of providing their own self defense.

This is Trump's position, and mine as well.

The sacrifices of our Veterans are simply too great to allow this dependency to continue.

Anytime you are dealing with Trump people just make up what they want to say and no facts. Anybody knows if you want to have any kind of peace you have to talk to people. Not talking is what starts wars. Nobody I know did not want Obama to talk to Iran. Like the others said the deal was what was bad. See whats happening with them now to see why it upset people, both Republicans and Democrats alike.

So Trump is for further nuclear proliferation, that sounds safe.

Its a lot more safe than not having the ability to defend your country, and, it is a lot more moral than being dependent upon the USA for your national security.

The best way to get NK to disarm, is to threaten to arm SK and Japan. Worked for Ronald Reagan.

I disagree. I was more upset that we allowed Iran to have nukes and pretty upset that the secret deal is much like Obamacare. You dont know what you got until its over. Its the secret stuff that upsets me after we were promised all this transparency stuff.

Completely disagree with you on this...

Helps to negotiate from a position of strength though. That may mean demonstrating a willingness to use force. Trump plays the part of bully very well.

This is also how you motivate China to be more involved in the disarming of NK.

The best way to solve the NK problem is to forge a relationship with a Gorbachev type of leader, get him in position to lead and let our friends in Langley take care of the current leader.

Completely disagree.

We need to keep open communication with the world, the Iran deal stinks.

The 5 killers we traded for Burgdhal smelled bad to. You tell American citizens we DON'T negotiate with terrorists then you trade 5 for 1.

Families of kidnapped Americans were told not to pay ransom for their family members. Yea right, you don't do that but I'll trade 5 killers for 1 deserter.

It's the deals that upset the people.
