What Do The 10th Region Teams Have?

Featured Replies

I'm not down on the Mustangs, they usually do pretty well.I am saying they are not on the same level this year as Mason and Clark. When they beat them this year then they will be not before IMO.My team has played them pretty good the last few years but will probably not beat them this year but you never know.If you listen to Striker no one will beat Brossart. He made some big predictions last year before the season started and they kind of fell short. He would be better off laying low and then hope they beat everyone.

I said at the end of the 04-05 season that they'd be the best team in the region the next year, that's a little far back isn't it?

Pendleton will be a threat even though they are just returning one starter... look for everyone else to step it up.

They should be a decent team but im not sure they will make a run for anything.

They lost a lot of talent from last year's team and their JV wasn't very good at all.

IMO -their only bright spot this year will be Kane Belcher. He is a top quality player and will be Mr. Everything for them.

Belcher will have to put up some huge numbers for PC this year. Just don't thik they have the talent level that they have enjoyed the past few years.

It will be kind of interesting to see how this kid performs with the players he has around him this season versus the previous two years of talent pool that Pendleton has had. Not taking anything away from Belcher or Pendleton players this season, but the talent that was there the previous two or three seasons is not going to be what this years crop is going to be like. Kind of thought Belcher was out of the shuffle with the players surrounding him last year and he will definitely have to step up this season. Should be interesting.

Maybe I repeat this every now and then, but the lineup for Deming this year,IMO, will be Travis Massey, Billy Graves, Nathan Mitchell, with 2spots to be filled. Coach Johnson was qouted he expected too see some success from this years squad and me and some fans here in Mt.Olivet hope he's right. Travis and Billy played well together in there Jr.High years I think they should be that way again their Senior year. Nathan Mithcell has had flashes when he has had some really good games as a freshman, maybe he'll step it up this year. Good Luck Devils.:thumb:

By my calculations, and by the way I was educated in a public school system way out in the middle of nowhere,it is only about one year and 5 months ago and was stated about last years team. When you said it doesn't matter the team was still the same.

Exactly, a year and five months ago... Isn't it time to let it go? Isn't there a problem when you don't expect your team to be the best? Also, last year's team came pretty close, losing to the Regional Champs by 4 in a close game. And it's a little hard to understand the last sentence so I won't comment on that...Also, didn't you expect PC to make it to Rupp? I believe Brossart did just as good.... Pot, meet kettle...

The tenth goes trough Brossart this year. Quote it , for next year. It goes through Ubell, Mutsch and Cooper, Kidney and Kramer. Its going to be a MUSTANG year!!

I really like Brossart...probably see them more than any other 10th Region team, but Mason & GRC are 1a & 1b at this point. Tournament basketball being what it is with a team capable of getting hot at the right time I give Brossart the next spot.

The only way it goes through Brossart is if they hold the 10th region tourney there:flame:

I don't think the Region will go through Brossart, I think it will go through Mason for the next few years. However, I find it hard to see that Brossart isn't above the rest of the teams in the region, other than Mason and GRC...
