April 20, 201610 yr Sounds like Thibs is about to become the new coach in Minnesota. That team is going to be tough in another year or two. Big time hire. Thibodeau to Minnesota
April 20, 201610 yr It's really strange watching the T-Wolves make smart moves. I half expect the organization finalize hiring Thibodeau, announce that he's actually been hired to manage corporate suite sales and then draft three point guards.
April 20, 201610 yr I was rooting for Mark Jackson, but Thibs is definitely a great consolation prize. The Wolves led the league with 18 losses by 5 points or less. Can't wait for next season!
April 20, 201610 yr I can't wait to see what the draft brings. I am hoping for Jamaal Murray. I do worry he will be a liability defensively, but he can't be worse than Ricky Rubio. He is atrocious. Plus they gain a shooter. Probably their most desperate need.

Plus they gain a shooter. Probably their most desperate need. I don't think Murray makes sense in Minnesota but I don't get paid to make those decisions. If anything I would work on developing that bench or deciding on whether or not they are staying with Rubio as the PG. LaVine, Wiggins, Dieng and KAT are one helluva nucleus with Shabazz Muhammed coming off the bench. I like LaVine more than Murray right now and I don't see Murray taking LaVine's spot. Murray and Muhammed would be lethal off the bench but I feel like Murray in the right spot on the right team can contribute immediately. I'm digressing but I'd love to see Murray on the Nuggets or even the Kings even though I have no clue what the Kings are doing right now. Even the Sixers could be a good spot for Murray. Knicks or Nets also.
April 21, 201610 yr Murray will be a two. Might be a heck of a match with Lavine since neither is a true PG but the Wolves seem to want to make Lavine into one. Thibs would mask Murray's defensive liabilities. A lineup of KAT, Wiggins, Dieng, Lavine and Murray would be sick. Move Rubio for some more shooting (stretch 4 maybe?).

April 21, 201610 yr I wouldn't wish getting drafted by the Kings or Sixers upon my worst enemy. Me either but those could be likely destinations for him and he fits in immediately for both of those teams. They both need a 2 guard.

April 21, 201610 yr First of all, I like alliteration a lot... Secondly, I don't like Murray there at all. Rubio is a true point guard in the traditional sense, which should benefit Wiggins in the long run, and I think we can agree he and Towns are the foundation upon which this franchise will be built. The last thing either of those guys need is another guy in the starting line up who needs shots. Murray is going to be a really good player somewhere, MSG comes to mind, but in my mind, Minnesota isn't the place. As for Thibs, I was thinking about him at work yesterday and I hoped this is where he would end up. Has this been in the news cycle at ESPN for any amount of time or is this somewhat of a surprise?
April 21, 201610 yr I wouldn't wish getting drafted by the Kings or Sixers upon my worst enemy. With the new leadership in Philly don't be surprised with dramatic improvement next season.
