Get your son a lemon chill @Wireman. In my opinion, for $5, it is the best buy in the park and will keep him busy for a little bit.

Go really early. Go down by the river where the players drive in and park. Many will stop and give a young one an autograph.

Go in and hang in the right field bleachers for BP. You can always snag a home run ball or two.

Well tonight is the night. Headed to the ballpark soon. Will it be easy to find parking or should I preplan for that?

Park in KY and walk across one of the bridges; either Covington or Newport. It will be cheaper and the view from the bridge while walking is fabulous!

How expensive is parking in the area around the stadium?

Prices range from $20 close to the ballpark to $15 or $10 as you move farther away from the river. Street parking isn't free until after 5pm if you are lucky enough to find a spot.

We will probably get there around 5:30ish. I will probably just take cash so I can get him in the stadium as soon as possible.

Should be 10 dollar parking around Montgomery Inn.

That's a pretty far walk! If he's going to walk that far, he might as well park in Newport for free and walk across the bridge.

We parked under the stadium last Saturday and it was $15. Won't be any more than that. Since it's a weeknight game, I wouldn't be surprised if it were only $10. Also, if you get there between 5 & 5:30, it may be even cheaper as they probably won't have the "game parking" signs up yet.

Only way to do it.

I am getting tickets at the ballpark. Is there much of a hassle to move closer to the field if I buy cheap tickets?

Depends on the ushers.

If you don't mind standing, I suggest just walking around the stadium, catching a few innings standing from behind home plate, and then some from down the RF line.
