April 28, 201610 yr Exactly it's common sense' date=' I don't understand why the SEC even became upset in the first place it's not like they're entitled to these players in the first place. This is a win for the youth.[/quote'] Preach it. If Nebraska goes to San Jose and host a camp & offers a kid who was going to go to San Jose St. that's a win for the kid.
April 29, 201610 yr Every single high school football player who wants to play at the next level, wins from this common sense ruling, sorry about your luck. My luck? Oh yes, it is the obligatory "you're either with me or it is obvious that you are a UK homer SEC fanboy" response. Completely baseless considering I don't have any issue with satellite camps.

April 29, 201610 yr And while kids are recognized at camps, the types of resources now available to recruit and get out info on recruits makes the whole "killing the small guy" rhetoric a bit over-dramatic. The smaller schools have fewer funds devoted to recruiting as their schools keep cutting budgets. Some mid major schools no longer reimburse their coaches for certain recruiting visits.
April 29, 201610 yr I think I read a few weeks ago that Arkansas and maybe Texas A&M were already holding satellite camps in the past years. It was part of how they did business already. So it's not just Big10 teams that had a stop put to what they were doing. Also Oklahoma was already doing it, so it's not like Michigan or Ohio invented this idea. Oklahoma and Arkansas were already holding camps in Texas.

I hear you, but I was trying to convey that video or online transmission and access is more readily available than ever.

May 12, 201610 yr Hot of the press, after the NCAA reversed the SEC satellite ban Michigan schedules 26 satellite camps. Harbaugh knows how to push buttons.
