To everyone, I would gladly pay 16 regional coordinators to rank each team each week, add a line or two about each team, and start some final game threads for the top teams in their region each week.

I try my best with my 10th Region rankings which most people can agree with.But it is difficult adding information due to lack of coverage.

The 10th (like some others) is pretty spread out. You'd almost need two people to cover it.

Many teams either have coaches or interested parents who will pony up for a subscription to GameChanger, which provides box scores, PBP and scorebook info on each and every game that team plays, as well as season-to-date stat info. Schools that take baseball/softball seriously will have that info.

 

Whoever the "rep" is for those schools could find those stat-keepers a very valuable resource in terms of providing details on a day-to-day basis.

But you get no details. Would be nice if each school had a rep like Lawnboy and Playtowin29 do on the girls side. Unfortunately my son was forced to miss the baseball season again this year or I would report on the Highlands games.

Just heard Beechwood scored 32 runs in two games Friday and no BGP posts. More BW JV posts then varsity. Very disappointing.

Not only are the post down for baseball in here. I live in the 1st region and other than McCracken County the whole region is down. Not much good baseball being played here. A few good arms scattered around and a couple good hitters but the lack of baseball talent is sad. At most games you see more errors than quality hits.
