Kris Bryant or Andrew McCutchen

I wouldn't because I think Bryant will hit more. The point is you have a one year sample size from Bryant. Based on what we know today who you giving your money to. McCutchen has proven who he is and you know what you will get. Bryant has one year to judge him by.

My real point was you made your comment on power. It's not like Bryant hit 10 more HR's than McCutchen who did hit 31 just a few years ago.

Agreed. If I had 20M and had to give it all to one of the two players THIS year, it would be Cutch. I pretty much know what I am going to get. That is not saying Bryant is not good or might have a better year, just the body of work is there for Cutch.

McCutcheon is the better all-around player, and more valuable as a result.

I'm still taking Bryant.

Cutch having an off year and hitting almost 50 points below his career average this season.

2016 stats...

AB Runs Hits HR RBI SB BA OBP OPS

Bryant 329 73 94 25 65 3 .286 .384 .962

Cutch 336 50 83 14 38 2 .247 .319 .745

I'll take Bryant.

Cutch has 2 SB? Weak sauce. He ain't tryin' or Hurdle has prohibited him from running.

Bryant has been doing well so far in his second year in the bigs. But right now I'll still take the established star McCutchen even with the off year so far. (May be an injury not divulged)

Laugh if you must but at this point I take the vet.

I'd say you're in the minority at this point.

Familiar territory brother.

Oh the Reds....about 5 years ago they had a deal done to send Stubbs and Bruce to the Burgh for McCutchen and pulled it back. Ugh...

How could you think about trading a 5 tool talent like Stubbs for McCutchen?
