I was told asst coach from Scott and former assistant coach at Holmes Sam Elsbernd applied. He gets his teaching degree this May. If I were a program looking for a young hungry coach I'd give him a look. He's been mentored by a few great coaches.

I think that is an accurate statement and will be a home run hire for the program and the school in general in my opinion. Great hires have been made in football (John Poynter and Gene Peterson), baseball (Pat Armitage), and girls basketball (Melanie Cornett Rogers) over the past 12 months and soccer (Chris Rousses) a couple of years ago. The coach I am thinking of would definately complete the set and make the Wildcats solid across the board in boys and girls athletics.
